The Caravan Park came about when the Pine Point School closed in 1971. Redevelopment was undertaken and completed in 1973. The old school building is now used as the office / kiosk (only shop in town)
The facade of the School has purposely been retained and become a unique part of the towns history.
The Caravan Park now has 21 Powered Sites in total with 8 sites available for travellers, BBQ/pergola area, fish cleaning shack, laundry, campfire and lawn for recreational purposes.
