Its central location makes it an ideal base for exploring the Yorke Peninsula, whether you’re planning a fishing trip, crabbing adventure, or a relaxed coastal getaway. With plenty to see and do in the surrounding region, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy time with family and friends.
Down south you will find towns such as Edithburgh, Yorketown, Warooka, Marion Bay, and the stunning Innes National Park, which features native flora and fauna. It is also home of the historic Inneston Village and has a rugged coastline, including the Ethel shipwreck, Shell beach rock pools & Stenhouse bay jetty. The ‘bottom end’ also showcases the stunning Flahertys beach, east of Point Turton.

The Innes National Park is located 130km from Pine Point and is popular all year round. The Inneston Historic Walk will teach visitors about the historic village of Inneston and the history of gypsum mining in the area. Ethel Beach is also a popular location where visitors can see the remains of the Ethel shipwreck.

The Yorke Peninsula is famous for its Fishing, boating & crabbing and is one of the most popular destinations in South Australia for a fishing holiday. Pine Point’s central location gives you easy access to the entire Peninsula, home to the blue swimmer crab.
Walk the Yorke is a 500km+ continuous network of walking/cycling trails that showcases the Yorke Peninsulas coastline. The trails pass through all the major coastal towns (including Pine Point Caravan Park) so there are plenty of places to start or stop your journey.
